Duration:2-7.30pm
Tide:h.w 5pm
Weather:great
Bait:fresh crab,lug,razor
Rigs:flappers,pullys
Results:me 1flounder 1 coaley,1 codling dave 0 fish
Report:
not much to report we went down with high hopes of some cod but things dont always go to plan first cast i had a crack off and then we went a hour or so without a bite until i got a nice knock but no hook up then another hour pasted with no action until i was reeling in to change the bait and got tangled up in the leader from my first cast and pulled in a nice flounder of 37cm on the end of it so blank saved even if it was a lucky catch things were still very slow but we tought things would pick up nere h.w but i only maneged another 2 small fish and then when the tide turned the fishing became impossibale with the weed and run we stuck it out till 7.30 and packed up and headed home

See Now if I had gone with ya's I would have blanked BUT ya's would have been HAULING FISH IN!!

Got a tap but it was very hard to know if it was the heavy weed which it was.... Weed weed and more weed well that's a new mark for you. The two anglers down from us blanked as well...Well at least the grub was good and the kids playing around the mark didnt knock over the tripods felt sorry for the young fella who ran into the butt of my rod as I was reeling in.... what a knock he gave the rod... would say his head was sore

dave i forgot about the kid smacking the rod with his head he was a hardy little fella not a moan out of him just a shake of the head and a hand up to say sorry wounder was it the same fella that went on his ear after flying off his bike not a wimper out of him either and fair play for the stew it hit the spot did you enjoy the few beers when you got home

Nice catch,A few fish is better than no fish, heading that way tomorrow to get my 2012 season going.Im like a child at Christmas,cant wait to get out
