Sun Jan 08, 2012 6:41 pm

People:Myself

Duration:9am-13.30pm

Tide:high-low

Weather:nice calm day with slight breeze

Bait:Frozen black lug/squid

Rigs:2 hook flapper

Results:5 whiting- 3 Dab and an unknown fish hopefully someone can tell me.

Report:
Decided to head out for a few hours as I've been stuck in all week minding the kids so headed for arklow.
Was only one on the beach except for a big dalmatian that kept going for my bait.Casted out and straight away was getting knocks but nothing hooking.
An hour in bites were getting better and i reeled in to find 2 fish on,a small whiting and the unknown fish which i think is a kind of gurnad but not sure.I then caught the dabs and few more whiting.Only stayed a few hours to use up bait then headed for home.Beats sitting in.
