couldnt recommend it enough mate. the only issue is that its not possible to cover too much water (unless you get out on a small boat) i.e. ur only restricted to where you can wade or just in tight to the shore. this mark was in Red Bay and over stones and weed but it fell away quite quickly into deeper water. it was ideal for the fly to target pollack, coley, wrasse and the like. get those flies out!nobuzz wrote:I'm definitely gonna get the fly gear out next year.

Theres a few marks round Red Bay where I fancy trying for pollack.
The benefit of fly gear is that you can fish in places which are too snaggy for spinners or even float gear.
