People: Bingham and I
Duration: 5pm - 9pm
Tide: Pushing
Weather: Not too bad actually, apart from the rain
Bait: Mackeral
Rigs: Danglers, 1 & 2 Hook Patt.
Results:
7 x 3 Bearded Rockling to 1lb1oz, Some Coalies, Pollack and Pouting
Report:
Being the time of year for it, we decided on another trip North to try and find some of our slimey friends.
Things started slow with the Coalies and stuff getting to the baits quickly, Most fish were 18 - 20cm with the odd better fish thrown in for good measure.
Being my usual adventurous self I took a dander to an area nearby that obviously hadn't seen baits in a while and immediately got an unmistakable Rockling bite, which also turned out to be the best one of the night at 1lb1oz.
Good way to spend a Thursday night
