Results: 5 cods and a coalie

Report: When i arrived on Green Park there was 9 men fishing already and the guy next to me had already 4 bigger cods, couple over 5lb-s for sure and a ray. I set up my gear and 10 min after the first cast i got my first cod and they kept coming. As there was not much space i left my second rod in the bus. Well, very good fishing night for many who were down there. And all I used was 3 crabs. But unfortunately not all were so lucky, guys came down from Sligo and caught only 1 coalie .... pity ...

Anyways, i have a feeling even if the weather turns even a bit bad in next couple days, fish is in.

hi aidan it all so knowen as the band stand ask any of the locals down there and they will point you in the right driction and best of luck

the greenpath in youhal is right across from the walter rally hotel just below the light house

Looks as if the place will be getting busier with the quality of reports flying in at the moment

I'm on my way, just hoping I get lucky - would like to stay into the night (HW=10.00pm),
but gotta get back into Dublin city centre by 9.30 (prior engagement!).
So let's hope the cod make an early evening arrival!
