short session on the lures

Results:had two hours free this morning so went to local rock mark for some wrasse bashing... by they hit like steam trains,,,,,6 wrasse landed... and then i landed upside down on the rocks,, ouch,,,,

Lovely wrasse there :) I didn't know they would take plugs, there was me thinking wrasse only took soft plastic lures!

well done, fine fishin there lucky
wasnt aware myself that wrasse would readily take the plugs.
then again, i have had a couple on spinners - usually only when jigged or pulled slowly...

i was'nt aware that you could target them on lures either :shock: you learn something new every day :lol: :lol:

ye al. i found out myself about 6 months ago while trying for bass. it is great crack on a shallow diver. i think it is not that they want to eat it, but as you plug over the hole that they are in, they just attack it,,, have seen in my local mark in shallow water, as you plug it slowly you can see the wrasse attack the plug, and bye do they hit it,, well worth ago yourself.....
