Report:Decided to take a run up to red bay ,intended to fish the ledges but a few guys here already so had to search around to get somewere so ended up on the salmon rocks at cushendal ,started of with loads of pin whiting stripping the hooks in no time then as hw arrived the first of the plaice arrived with the best one of just over a pound falling to neil a few small dab put in an apperance and a couple of flounder in the 1/2lb region then davy started of the coalies in close ,once darkness came the better codling up to 1 1/2lb arrived .
Not a bad way to spend a sunday afternoon ,hopefully that'll be the start of our cod fishing for the rest of the winter .
