50 Odd Pollack & Coalies, A few pouting, A few whiting
Report:
Another crazy night on Donaghadee pier, made it to the Harbour for the last of the light, immediately started into a Pollack and Coalfish plague, the clear water must really be encouraging them to feed as most of the time the baits weren't getting to touch the bottom before being hit by ravenous fish!
The fish ranged from around 15cm to 40cm+ and gave a great account of themselves on the Balanced gear (lifted all the fish on my conoflex flattie rod and savagegear bushwacker) some of them really did pull back.
Later as the fishing slackened is when the Pouting and Whiting finally got their chance to get near the baits, Not much variety, but a good load of fish... =]
