Millisle- huge numbers of Sandsmelt

Weather: all types
Bait: Whites, Lug, Mackerel, Squid and Sandeel
Rigs: Variety
Results: Loads of Sandsmelt........ oh yea and an occassional Pollack and Coalie amongst them

After a boat trip i decided to try Millisle pier, having caught too many mackerel and created a rubby dubby and as soon as the bag went in the sandsmelt were up feeding straight away, so i started fishing a float for them, bites started straight away, first day i had 10 along with half a dozen pollack, day two i fished in day light, again the sandsmelt were there and feeding like mad, finished with 14, today was the best of the 3 days between james and myself we had 39 sandsmelt and 2 pollack. I must say i have never been so fed up catching sand smelt.

Start freezing them down, we'll spin them next year kid... (JOKING!)
