THE NORTH WEST DAY OUT? WAT DO U MEAN IM NEW TO ALL THIS?

Hi,
was just wondering if you walked out to the end of Melmore head and fished out towards the mouth of the lough or did you fish the atlantic facing side. Have walked out there in the past but not fished. thought it looked to have potential and have always planned a return with the rods. Was the ground not very snaggy?

Through the caravan sites to the end of the road you have a small bay in front of you ignore this and go over the hill and down the back to the cove. You will have snags in front of you however all sea is sand at about 20 mts cast (very very deep water). Snags can usually be avoided casting from height

A bunch of us is meeting up to fish that area. Check the link in my first post there.
Everybody welcome to come along, put names to faces, dangle a bait and hopefully catch a fish! :D
