Arrived at the Pier about 1.30 and boy was the wind blowing, but we where to fish and fish we were going to. After 2 hours of nothing some men arrived to remove the boats before the storm really got going and one of them came to the end of the pier and with his 1st cast took what must have been close to a 2lb Pollock real gold in colour. Then off he went I then followed his cast and I got a pollock 1.5lbs Paul not to be out done Took my place when i was unhooking and rebaiting and got a 2lb pollock again a real goldie one. For the next hour we took it in turns to get a pollock but they where all less than a 1lb Then Paul pulled a big Gurnard of nearly 1.75lb followed by a Flounder. The Rain arrived boy what a shower it sounded like hail stones on the van 30 minutes followed followed by a longer heavier shower When we got back to the fishing it was after 6.00pm but the the mackerill arrived only a few at first but at 7.30pm the guy beside us got a full house of 6 all of a decent size. By this time we where cold and the chinese beckoned so we pack up and headed home.
Some one else caught a fish today (see Picture)
