People:Myself and a mate Paul from work

Duration:8:15- 2:45

Tide:On it's way in,high about 3ish I think

Weather:Beautiful clear sky, cold later on in the nite

Bait:Fresh crab,lug,rag and mack

Rigs:2hook flappers, pulley rigs

Results:We got to the beach about 8:15 to find just one couple fishing, and they wer camping to. So we had the whole beach to choose a spot from. We got set up and had a crab bait in the water by about half past.

My mate Paul was only just in the process off setting up his 2nd rod when his first one was bending double, he had hooked a good 5-6lb hound on his first cast. Once we unhooked it and he was gettin his picky taken my rod was bent double with a hound, 10-15 secs later it was gone. So straight back the crab bait went and within a minute I was into my 1st 5-6lb hound off the nite, we wer both looking at each other thinking this was going to be a real special nite.

Then nothing happened for an hour or so and we thought we wer going to blank the rest off the nite, then one of my rods went over and it went the normal hound take, so realed in to find a Tope had taken my crab, was a big surprise as the thing was a good doggy size. After the pup Tobe I hooked into a another 5-6lb hound.

Then the fishing died off for another hour or so, then my crab rod went over double and my line was screaming off the real, I was into a real big hound, after 5 mins or so off a fight and making absolutely no ground on it, it thru the hook. A few minutes later paul's rod was bent over and into another hound, which he lost after a few seconds. The fishing really changed then with dab's plaice and doggy's being caught, paul then nailed a small huss about 3lb, then on the last few casts I hooked into another hound which ended up being 3-4lb
Overall it was a great nites fishing with a load off diff species caught, and some real good fish landed.

Would add pic's but can't be Weser getting off the couch to go get my fishing gear out the car! Yeah it was a goodnites fishing but there wer some real quiet periods which just dragged for ever

That means getting my camera out my box logging onto my pc then re sizing pics then uploading them. Way to lazy for it, but I will do it some time this week. I have loads of pics from the last 5-6 nites out with a load of hounds.

I didn't bother putting up my igloo, so them quiet periods in the fishing damn near froze me to death, sat nite was real chilly!
