Report:
With the help of Al and Jordan (thanks again), i had sussed out a couple of new marks. So got myself outta bed (just off the nightshift) and headed straight out. Got to the Mark and set up the big rod with a big strip of mackerel and turned my attention to spinning. With nothing happening i was contemplating on changing my bait over when, outta the corner of my eye i spotted a couple of bites on the bait rod, retrieved the spinner and struck into my biggest rockling

, slightly larger than my chopping board. Happy days blank saved, i could finally relax lol
Re-baited and cast back out. After watching Henry Gilbey spinning with sandeel I fancied a go with it myself so set the wee rod up and had a few chucks, unfortunately both rods went very quiet.
About an hour after high tide i had changed tactics again, and was float fishing the wee rod with still no luck, when i seen the big bait rod near buckle in two!!!

I scrambled over to it as i pictured the whole lot ending up in the drink!!! And reeled into my biggest ever pollock weighing in at 5.8lbs on the digital scales

I was well chuffed a smile from ear to ear!!! I could of packed up and went home there and then lol.
But i fished on and was rewarded with another rockling about half the size of the first!
Well and truly enjoyed myself and my fishin buds where sorry they missed it lol

P.S the two Rockling where returned to fight another day, But the Pollock went home to be Battered..... Pure Beaut!!
I did have more pictures but my phone just done a restore and deleted half of my camera roll

So maybe in a day or two i'll figure out how to get them back and get them uploaded!
