Tide: Flat and High at 8pm

Weather: Irish -Warm Sunny and rainin!

Bait: Macks

Rigs: Runnin Ledgers and Flappers

Results: 3 'small' pollock, 1 Coalie and Great Doggy

Well as usual at the Dee started slow and got slower until the Tide started pushing out, with only a few others there and not much happen til the small Pollock started feeding then thought the Coalie where going to show but only one!..with little bait left tried longer cast off the back wall 30yrs...and bingo a crackin Doggy would put him bout the 3lb mark and great fight.

were you using light tackle ? cause ive never got a fight out of a doggie

...wouldn't call it heavy tackle...understand what you mean cause most come in like boats...but this doggy fought from the bite to landing including making a dash for the bottom again soon as he seen day light on the surface!...at fist thought was a good Pollock.

i wouldnt mind the doggies at all if they all fought like that :P
