Report:

Arrived around 7pm, tide was already quite high so proceeded to my usual rock. Rigged up some lures for myself and the boss , the water looked in good shape. We were getting coalfish & pollack more or less every cast, most of them a bit small maybe just size.
Hooked what i thought felt like a good fish only to be surprised by landing a bloomin Mackerel  Hard enough getting them here in July never mind September! (Gees if only they grew to 10lb + 8) )

We both carried on with lures to land a few more mackerel, coalies and pollack. I hooked a good seatrout (looked around 4lb mark) only for the feckken hooks to pull out when i tried to lift it onto the rocks ! maybe i'll start taking a landing net in future.

Rigged up a float for the girlfriend with rag bait, she landed a small wrasse just under 1lb but then managed to get the biggest coalie of the night 1lb 14oz, not a monster but better than the tiddlers we'd been getting.

Fished for an hour or so into dark, using rag & mackerel on 2 hook flapper rigs landed few dogfish and coalies.

Packed up just before 10pm due to a lack of working headlights.

All in all not a bad night, weather was good and we managed a few fish.
