Salmon rocks is in Cushendall, down beside the golf course opposite Limerick point.
Have caught loads of small Wrasse there close in but one at 2 1/2 lb is a good one. If you cast out anything over 50 yrds you should get plenty of flatties with the odd good one showing.

Hi all
Have to agree with Lee on this one. Historically the " Salmon Rocks" are as discribed by Lee on the left hand side of Cushendall beach. They are called this because the anchor points for the salmon nets are embedded in them.

i know the mark your on about pook, but its 'name' has left me!a mate fished it around this time last year spinning with a greenfish and took a load of pollack and coalies and mackerel.at least we now know of a good alternative mark for those days or nights when the drifting weed can make the beach unfishable.

if you stand were the circle in the rock is cut on the left side you free to spinn on the right were you are droping for wrasse about 20 yrds out there is a group of rocks not seen at high tide so dont spinn there.
