Ferrypoint, Youghal, Co Cork. 9th November 2003 dusk, gale, ebb

Ferrypoint: Fished the River side of the point on Sunday the 9th as the weather was blowing big time from the south west. Started at dusk and fished just over high tide. Very little to show and crabs were eating my bait faster than anything I have encountered before. I used crab, razor, lug and mackeral. Just as the tide started to ebb, I had a small whiting and next cast a good Coalfish (>2lb) but ran out of bait as the fishing was picking up. No Codling being caught I quess its getting to late.
