Sun 25th 11:00-18:00.
Fished just down by the bridge at Valleymount (theres a name on the bridge I cant think of). Took 3 Pike, 1 was just over 15lb and the other two were slightly under 10lb....fine fish. Took me a good 15mins with the big one. Used frozen eel and would you believe.....sausages!!!!! (got the 2 smaller ones on sausages). bit of a chilly day, but clear skies and peaceful surroundings plus 3 hefty Pike made it a good day out.

Dont' mind a few pike myself.

I had a 13.5 pound fish on sunday from the Barrow at Bagnelstown and had a 12. 5 lb fish the previous week from Athy. A double figure fish every time you go out is fine by me.
