People:me and the boss

Duration:2 and a half hours

Tide:last hour of the rise and subsequent drop

Weather:flat calm

Bait:crab

Rigs:float size 2 hooks

Results: :evil:




Report:Hooked into a decent wrasse only to have it and my float set up taken by a seal who was then seen to lay nonchalantly on his back and devour them both. That is all :evil: :evil: :evil:

we had had a few baby pollack before the incident, but the wrasse felt like a thumper, trying to think back and figure out at what point i stopped playing the fish and started playing the seal :?: :D

how does the seal digest the hooks?
One took a pollack off me last year along with a rapala was just wondering?

Know the feeling, I had 3 good fish taken off me by seals at Dalkey Island recently, eventually had to move on and let the bugger catch his own fish. :D
