Report:Hooked into a decent wrasse only to have it and my float set up taken by a seal who was then seen to lay nonchalantly on his back and devour them both. That is all

un lucky they can be a pain in the arse there,

we had had a few baby pollack before the incident, but the wrasse felt like a thumper, trying to think back and figure out at what point i stopped playing the fish and started playing the seal

Sounds like, you were got at, hook, line & floater.

Know the feeling, I had 3 good fish taken off me by seals at Dalkey Island recently, eventually had to move on and let the bugger catch his own fish.
