Duration:3 hours

Tide:dropping

Weather:rain and wind

Bait:mack and rag

Rigs:various

Results: 2 pollack

Report:
We first went to ballintoy, but after one cast we decided to go elsewhere, as the wind was very strong.
So we headed round the coast a bit near ballybastle and tried a new mark. On his second cast, stu's rod took a massive hit and it nearly got pulled out of the trypod!!! He had fish on but also snagged. We thought he would lose the fish and rig, but he was patient and at last he was able to reel in but the rod was well bent. He got a double, one at 2.5 lb and the other at 2.25 lb. There was a couple more bites but the rain was persistant and stu hadn't the proper clothing with him and he was soaked through, and i got wet myself so called it a day. Myself and doggy dave blanked, but we wiil be back to this new mark very soon.Tried to load photos, even resized them 800x800 and im still getting file too big, 1 mib max ect. I give up, will try again later maybe.

800x600 is what you want Billy, try that, should be the right size. Well done for sticking the weather out!

Both Pollack, just different shades. The Coalie has a more distinctive white lateral line and would have a very dark green, almost black back, with a very silvery under belly! Well done!
