Report:
Drew text me this afternoon as we were supposed to get out for a session yesterday, but due to the current eastern winds making most of our usual spots unfishable we decided to give it a miss. So Drew picked me up at around 5.30 and we headed to Portaferry!
Drew was straight in with a 37cm coley as the first fish of the day, after which he caught a few cod and wrasse! I however didn't catch anything until dean turned up at around 7.30, shortly after this I managed to pick up a Shorey and two decently sized wrasse, one was brilliant fun as I caught it on a really tiny rod

Dean then proceeded to catch a few cod(a first for us both this year) and wrasse as did myself while Drew was picking up coalys as well!
Nearing the end of the session drew set up a rod so we could drag a rag through the water to try and catch Pollock and we all had a few casts, plenty of touches but unfortunately no Pollock! Although it was great fun!
All in all it was a good session, we really needed something like this after the last few sessions we've had which seemed to be diabolical!
Will post pics shortly
