1st of the year

sunday 17th, time 4:30pm to 7pm
Took the new setup - teklon 802ml and technium 3000 - for the first few casts today. Wasn't expecting much, more looking for new marks for the coming season. Happy days though I sended up with a little schoolie on a feed shallow almost as big as him. Not big but able to strip line from the reel on a couple of runs when he saw me. great fun.
missed a bigger one that came clear out of the water at a patchinko but didn't come back for a second hit at it. next time.
had to pack it in as i was freezing from standing in a fog that came in and standing in cold water for hours

its good to get the first one in,,well done,,,,unfortunate about the bigger fish but you will get him next time
