Me and 2 mates from work

Time:5:30-11:30

Tide:High @ about 10ish

Nice nite, no wind or rain

Bait:Squid,lug,razor

Rigs:All sorts

Results:Flounder,pin whiting,rockling and codling

We arrived down to the beach at about half five, and was a few guys all ready there. So we wer thinking we mite be in for a real good nite. The fishing started off a little slow with no bites for the first hour. Then the sun dropped and the bites started, we wer expecting good things when I got a bite that took the rod off the stand. I reeled in to find my brand new hook had been snapped. Then my mate started pulling in rockling after rockling, I had my 1st fish after about an hour and it was a nice flounder off about 30cm. Followed by a codling off about 25cm. Then it was pin whiting for a few hours and the odd small codling. It then went quiet for an hour or so with baits coming back in how they went out. We decided to start packing up at about 11:30 and as always the last cast produced a decent flounder for myself and a nice whiting for my mate! We wer debating staying but wer just to hungry so headed home!

Was another nite fishing down there with a load of small fish mixed with a couple of half decent fish to keep you there. I didint take photo's as there was no point. Everyone know's what a pin whiting looks like, and the dreaded slugs!
