04-03-11 - Sea rat country

Sat Mar 05, 2011 9:14 pm

People:Clownfish, Greg, Jayball10 and myself

Duration:a few hours

Tide:few hours before high and a few hours before low

Weather: nice

Bait:all sorts

Rigs:all sorts

Results:In total between 50 and 60 doggies and 6 whiting.

Report:

Weather being fairly nice, we decided to give a go at Killoughter.

First the "road". Honestly was expecting something worst. Lot of fun :?

Nice beach, nice weather.

Nothing really interesting to report apart that it must be doggies country.

Cast after cast, it was nearly dogfish everytime.

All in all it was still nice to be outside with the lads, catching something (even dogs always better than blank), testing the jeep's shockabsobers and to see that the doors are waterproof.

With a normal car  ? You shouldn't take those pink pills before going fishing, they can make you do crazy things

Dogs always better than micro flounders :D

Potholes? Looks more like they have have fun with RPG, landmines and various explosives on the road there :?
But when you can make it, you're sure you won't be annoyed and nobody is going to break the car.
