Bait:sandeel,mackerel,squid,razor

Rigs:2 hook flapper

Results:6 whiting




Report:not a whole pile to report,started with a double of starfish

then a bit later started to get a few whiting

the fishing was quite but I did pass the time watching 3 people climb the same mountain twice,they came down a valley only to discover that they could not get out because of cliffs on each side,after a hr of trying they headed back to the top and came down the way the way they went up

how bad a nice few whiting for yourself!hope you cooked the starfish and all:)

well done ger was there any size to the fish also remember that walk in achill down and back up that mountain

Nice whiting Ger, is that a 4 legged starfish you got there? Must have been fighting or somebody tried to eat it...

thanks fishy,the starfish were too small to do anything with,dont think i would fancy eating one

thanks Alan,some of the whiting were dinner size,I wont forget the walk in achill to fast after carrying 2 stone of lead in the box the hill they were on was way worse then achill

thanks cathal,the starfish had 4 legs but I think that was the way it was born,Icouldn't see any trace of a fight or a stump of a leg
