Report:arrived at mark and started setting up while i waited for kevin. lovely sunny day small shore surf, sent out a flapper in close and baited up second rod and cast it out when bang left with my supercast shattering below the reel seat

, rod back into the bag and set up another rod, kevin arrived with fresh worms and after telling him about my misfortune a small knock on my rod in close, reeled it in and found an angry little prickly fish (sea scorpion i think) if anyone can confirm it would be great, new spieces happy enough, fishing for the rest of the nite was slow enough with rockling and coalies in close but nice to be out. The angry little fish growled and vibrated like a mobile on silent
