Tide:low 16:36 1.9m

Weather:dry cold and windy

Bait:sandeel,mackerel,squid,razor

Rigs:2 hook flapper

Results:1 flounder,1 coalfish,1 dogfish




Report:headed to a beach first to try and get a flat fish after a hour landed a flounder

then i moved to a nearby deep water mark to try for a ray,fishing was quite there as well but managed to get a dog

edit: actually, on closer examination you are probably right. oops
- hard to see the colour of the lateral line in the photo

he confused me a bit as well,it looked a bit like a pollack when i looked at the bottom lip but the lateral line was straight,i had to look it up in a book to confirm what it was

that's true fishing is quite everywhere but it wont be long until it starts picking up again :D

thanks al,I had to put the huss dog indicator on it so I wouldn't have the hassle I had in the reports last year :roll:
