We started fishing at 7 am in the morning .when i set up my gear tide was already start to come in which I planed.
Weather was beautuful and warm ( as irish standart :? )
perfect day for fishing I said to me self until when I saw little bit weed on the beach.
any way fisrt cast ,had to cut the line
second cast had to cut the line
third cast I lost the weight but save the rig goes on like that nearly until lunch time.
After barbeque on the beach with my kids start to spinning to reduce weed problem but this didnt work us eighter.
I start to work plan C, which is float fishing from beach with 80 grams float(You can cast really far with it )
but again it didnt work at all.
I talked couple of anglers they have same unwanted weed problem and this push the people go some whereelse but I keept fishing , I mean pulling weed from sea :P
when i looked at time it was nearly 8 o'clock time to go ,I cast one more time and I crosss my other line(dont ask me how i did it :P )
thats it,i told the kids thats it for today and we went home.
I call my mate Mr. Smirnoff on the way and pretend this Day never happed :D :D :D

Kilcoole, there's no better beach on the east coast to build your biceps hauling in tons of seaweed, usually with a few boulders attached! Try further down the coast next time!

I gave up on Kilcoole a few years ago for that reason, even though it was the beach I started fishing on 20 years ago and it had no weed problems then - if fact your arms would get tired hauling in good bags of winter codling!
