Rigs:3 hook flapper 2 hook looped


Results:4 bass 1 flounder

headed out today with a promising forecast giving a much needed westerly(never got what they said), after digging some bait made first mark just at low water.cast first rod into suds three hook flapper second rod a bit further two hook looped didnt have long to wait first bass at distance on lug 43cm good start shortly after got a cracking bite dropped him twenty feet out ah well.over next hour landed two more a schoolie and one at 46cm.moved slightly then to check another mark same set up cast one out distance and other in gutter as walking backing to stand with the rod over it went i must have hit him on nose fourth bass 44 cm, no other bites so moved for top of tide only got one flounder here 34cm even though there was perfect surf ah well good to get out few nice fish caught and two dropped happy days

Man there a sandy looking bass :P Great session the fishing is depressing up here on the east coast at the moment if you ever want a beautiful rockling up this neck of the woods is your only man :)

Well done mate nice to hear of a nice session at the bass. One of that flounder's must have been a sole, it looks so long and thin, to be serious he is really long and thing though, or is it just the way the pic came out?

Nice fish there. Great to see for the time of year, should be a few more reports this week from your neck of the woods with South Westerlies forecast.

one hell of an afternoons fishing peakle .the gods are truely shinning on ye boys down there even had the sun shinning on you. well done
as for rockling ,cant stand them,unless there like the ones al and jordan catch and we dont even see them on the barron east coast :twisted:

cracking fishing man 8) 8) you got more bass in that one session than what i had all last year :oops: :lol:
still getting the specimen 3 beardys plumster :wink: . gonna do a report for thm all soon :wink: :D

Apologies Peakle, my mistake, obviously with seanie's post just above mine I got confused! I tend to get excited when I see some fine bass and start getting all flusterd when I think of all the wasted hours with no results. Fine catch anyway, Well done!

i asaked them to stay still for photos but they were disobedient so i sent them off with a warning for next time :oops:
