Weather:Very Cold

Bait:Razor

Rigs:Pullys

Results:2 Bass

Report:Got to the mark today at 5:30 not much to report for the first 3.5 hours nothing not a bite not a sniff of a fish.so said to myself i better move down the beach cast out a big razor bait first cast on the new spot got a bite but no fish.Cast out again it took awhile to get a rattle no monster but a bass none the less but off he came at least i knew there was bass about now.cast again next bang on the rod was better a bass about 3.5lb happy with that due to it being flat clam.Next cast got a good rattle again a bass about 4lb a bit bigger than the first bass, all the action was in about 20mins and then things went very quite .at this stage my feet were like blocks so packed up and went home .very happy with the session when things didnt look that great at the start of the session.

Well done Razor, fished 2 east cork beaches friday night, had razors, soft crab and whitebait, just managed to save a blank with a nice coal fish, froze my back side off in -4, there was frost on my jacket when I got back to the car, a wee bass would have warmed me up no dought.

savage fishing man, I skipped the beaches last night due to lack of surf and went to youghal around the same time. Got one big bite for the whole night at two spots.
Sounds like I should have stuck with the beaches :(

Well done Ray,
I didn't even have a cast this weekend as I thought it would be too calm - although I did dig a big bunch of lug in anticipation of better fishing this week due to the southwesterly winds that are forecast.

Nice fish Razor, fair play for sticking it out with the calm conditions.
