People:me and mick
Duration:4.00-8.00pm
Tide:dropping
Weather: gentle east flutter
Bait:bluey, mackeral, sandeel, herring, squid tipping
Rigs:pulley, flapper
Results:mick 3 thornback rays, doggies galore
me 3 thornback rays, 3 doggies, 2 whiting
Report:decided on a short afternoon session just to get rid of the cabin fever

that had been building up with all the recent snow and determined to get a session in before the snow comes back to our nice donegal roads

. So not even the east breeze was going to detere us

, we landed a good number of thornies for this time of year all between 3 and 4 lb apart from micks best which was almost

a pb at 6lb 9 oz

just 3 oz off his pb, the double figure ray is still eluding us both but we have identified a few more possible maks to try next year. apart from the usual pack of dogs the only other excitment was my pb whiting, and not just the pin whiting that normally annoy the bait meant for better fish, It came in at 33 cm best I've had
Soory about the poor quality photos just taken on the phone as I couldn't find the camera

, mick text me to say he found it while cleaning out the van

this morning
all in all a worth while trip.
