2 Shore Rockling. 4 Pollack, Around 60 Coalies
Report:
I've been fishing Donaghadee during the day recently, and have been having some real good success with the Coalfish, this was my first night session on the pier for a while and all I can say is, wow!
Got down to find 3 Fellas fishing the railings, they said they'd had a few small Pollack, so we set up and fished over the back wall until they left around 20 minutes later. Got the gear onto the railings fishing the usual methods and all hell broke loose, Coalies in singles, doubles, and trebles happening immediately, and up until around 8pm we didn't really get a break from them. Saw a random otter in the harbour mouth, cute wee thing, and good to see they're still in the area.
From 8pm til 9pm the fishing slowed a tad, allowing another couple of species to make a showing, but still plenty of coalies there too.
I'll add pics off my phone tomorrow.

not bad drew, any size to them?

Seems to be a massive amount of coalies about at the minute! Fished Tullagh bay last week and there were loads of them!! Good size to and i think the biggest would have been around 40cms. Hopefully the Culdaff comp this sunday will throw up coalies in numbers.

Really going to have to invest in a decent fishing camera, all the Coalies ranged from around 18cm to Over 30cm...
