Bait:rag, lug ,squid, mackerel, sandeel
Rigs: 3 hook flappers, 1 and 2 hook clipped.
Results: 11 cod 1-2 lb, bout 20 dogs, several plaice and flounder, a few coalies and 1 small pollack
Report: most flats came before dark at around 30- 50 yards on scratching rigs, codling and dogs etc arrived after dark at all ranges. not hectic fishing but busy enough to keep us there to half four in the morning!
surprisingly the dogs and cod were spewing sandeels but when you tried sandeel as bait the feckers wouldnt sniff at it!
worm and squid cocktails took most fish.
