Time: 14.30 - 17.00

Weather: Cloudy, bit of rain

Tide: On the drop

Bait : Left over lug

Results: 2 schoolies + 2 Flounder

Same spot as yesterday. There was a decent surf running when I got there, but it eased fairly quickly. 2 schoolies again, which I'm convinced I've seen before...... One of the flounder was a foul hook. Not much happening, thought I had a thumper of a bite as I was about to pack up but it turned out to be a seagull that had managed to fly into the main line. Thankfully he didn't get caught up in it.

I noticed a couple of plastic drums bobbin up and down in the water about 2-3 hundred yards out. They stayed in the same position all day. Would these be attached to lobster pots or nets?

The surf looks bigger than yesterday, good result on the flounder and schoolies - well done.

Must try there again soon, its been a while since I fished that beach.
