I love the Beara Peninsula, it is wild, remote, and provides access to some of the best sea angling in Europe. To get the best from it shore anglers need to have patience and endurance but the rewards are worth it. A recent trip shattered all expectations,

Well done Ash,Great report and looks like a fine haul too.Had a trip down that neck of the woods a few weeks ago ,Absolutely breathtaking fishing and scenery.Will definitely be making another trip in 2011.And i must have put a stones weight on thx to Anns supreme cooking

And Paul is a gem when it comes to local fishing knowledge

without doubt the most amazing place in the country for fishing. was down earlier in the year and it was unbelievable the pollack and bass were throwing themselves at us! and then you get back to north dublin

. if i ever won the lotto.........

Great fishing, especially the plaice and specimen dab. Defintely be making a trip there next year

That is just simply awesome fishing, the stuff of dreams, well done Ashley & Company. I have yet to fish in that area but after reading your report Ashley and looking at the pictures I will make a point of going sometime for sure.
