People: me
Duration: 6pm - 9pm
Tide: low - rising
Weather: light northerly wind, clear and very calm.
Bait: lug, rag, peeler and sand eel
Rigs: pulley and 2 hook flapper (with wire booms)
Results: rockling and loads of pin whiting
Report: had a few hours so I made the trek down to wexford, more to get out for a few hours than in any hop of catching anything much.
the sea was gin clear and weed free. I fished 2 rods, one at distance and one close in. Both rods were immediately assaulted by pin whiting.
had a massive take on the rod at distance before it locked up ... im assuming it was a conger, but my leader knot gave way.
hope to get down again soon before the weather turns again.
