nth dublin 16-10-10

headed to a nth dublin beach yesterday and fished for 3 1/2 hours not even a bite so headed
back to dollymount for another couple of hours same again was useing razor,rag,crab with 2 of us fishing and not a tap i think i will stick to the south side fishing from now on

unlucky man. sometimes you can doing everything right,, but if the fish just are'nt there it is'nt gonna happen :(
just gotta stick at it :)

You got the same result as me yesterday. I fished Leenan pier and got the blankety blank chequebook and pen. :oops: :oops: Only one way for us both to go, : Onwards and upwards. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hey tight lines,

Pity the fishing was slow enough, I think you met my mate and his dad there. They ended up with a few schoolies, but it was still pretty poor apparently. They said that the water was pretty flat which probably had something to do with it.

Sorry it didn't work out for you. North Dublin has been fishing great the last six weeks. Maybe you'll try it again and have more luck.

yea its been fishing really good up this way untill this week, the last couple of sessions have been very bad

I'd say it's more than likely the big slack tides next week should see better returns.

yes al i was talking to a couple of lads when i was leaving it must of being them i dont know if i was fishing the right place i was fishing on the small beach behind the hotel because the main beach looked to shallow

Yeah both places should fish, Where you were fishing is apparently the 'hotspot' the main beach is where the lads got the Bass. I wouldn't worry too much about the depth, Bass will come right in and most surf beaches are shallow. They had a few more last night too! :wink:
