The littlest Pollack ever caught in Wexford

Report: Report: Seeing that the weather man was givin’ good weather for the weekend Alan, Adam and I hatched a plan that we’d hit the Sunny South East to wet a line of two.
Alan was straining at the leash to give his fishin’ van a lash and we hit the road on Sunday and enjoyed a nice jaunt down to a fishin’ mark just south of Courtown.
Lines in at about noon and almost immediately Alan was into a fish.
He was doing a highland fling, shoutin’ and roarin’ that he had caught a fish.
When we arrived to see what all the commotion was, we saw whet can only be described as the littlest tiddler of a Pollack ever seen. About a half an hour later more whoops and jiggin’ about by Alan and again the smallest Scorpion ever caught was witnessed.
It was then we discovered why he was catching fish. He was using small hooks. And I mean small. 10 and 20 carp sized hooks.
Anyways me self and Adam battled on but the high seas, gusting winds and mountainous breaking waves put paid to us catch ‘the big one.’
Congratulations to Alan also on his ‘doggie’ catch, without a hook and yep, the fishin’ van is being prepared for a lot of overnighters for the future.

the wind has been a real pain lately man all our east coast beaches up here are 2 feet deep in kelp and weed because of it . thankfully we're heading towards the neaps again
