Report:
Gave up reporting a while back, was getting too much Bass

....
Been off the Bass trail for a while, so was delighted to get back to a such good result - well worth reporting! - plus a few cod in between. Pics are a bit dodgy, as theyre taken from the mobile - wasn't expecting much so I hadnt brought the camera
Thursday was a bit choppy after an earlier blow, with a bit of weed mixed in - but a bass still managed to sniff out the crab

. Billy sent on his way for another day.
Same mark again on Friday, except this time with a 'nearly' full moon... I've never had a bass on a full moon, which always led me to believe they dont feed... WRONG! - 3 large bass in quick succession, Bang, bang, bang. Nothing for 20mins, so retrieved the first rod to go home - lump of weed turned out to have a 2lb cod hidden underneath

- not so much as a fight from him. Jumping all over the shop for the photo, so it was blurred and unuseable - plus the second rod was being nailed, with a smaller codling; one kept also. Best nights fishing in a long time.
Had 5 crab left, so decided to steal an hour on Sun night. Same location, same spot, except the water was like GLASS (didn't hold much hope of catching ANYTHING TBH - plus a bright moon). Same result - soon as the tide turned, two nice bass. The bigger lad never even rattled the rod - slack-line, swam straight in and up the beach and in

. This guy weighed a ton (prob full of crab) and tipped in at 3.5lb- the smaller lad followed about 10mins later and although lighter, seemed to have a lot more Red Bull in him than the first
Was a few mackrel 'fishermen' (

) around earlier in the night on the three nights, but no-one caught anything...
