Report:
The day was too good to waste, so at 5pm we went and dug some lug for a trip to the Dee, with the sun still high in the sky it wasn't long before we were hitting a few wrasse, Dan had a nice Ballan of about 1.5lb to start off, which I followed up with a double shot of Ballans myself. Loads of Coalfish in the mouth, all over 20cm which was nice. The tide was out far enough to see the bottom and you could actually see the fish cruising about.
Dan fished into the rough and managed yet another Cuckoo wrasse from the wall, very well done, I think it's the biggest I've seen from the wall so far.
As the light went the pouting turned on, they seem to have a liking for the prawns and I got quite a few down the side along with a wee LSSS.
Plenty of Coalfish continued to show as the light went, and the tide began its push, at about 9pm it slowed right down, and by 9.30 it was time to pack up...
Good night again...
