People: myself

Duration: 5 hours

Tide: rising?

Weather: strong wind, heavy showers

Bait: rag, sand eel

Rigs: pulleys

Results: 1 flatty

Report: arrived at portstewart, and got set up. thought the high tide was near midnight, but with the wind and surf, ya wouldnt have guessed it. waded out, cast the rods, and stood back to wait. . . .

the only bite i noticed was when one rod doubled in two, happy days, thought it must be a good fish

lots of sea weed and a wee flatty on the end, that was it for the nite

well done on beating the blank man. that's one of those "feast or famine" beaches. but it can throw up the odd nice fish now and again, and even the chance of a silver fella if you're really lucky
