sorry but i had these pics saved on my phone and only gettin them downloaded now. there from a session in early august. i was well proud of the trigger fish and im not sure but i think the other 1 is a horse mackerel.

wow well done on trigger fish.did u get him in antrim if so he has really gone far up.they have been showing up in cork.waterford and wexford.im not sure but ur other fish mide be a scad.nice pics well done fagan

yeah i caught it between portstewart and portrush, couldnt beleive it myself i was luvin it. ive never heard of them being caught newere in the north. i didnt even know what it was untill i looked it up on the net. must be global warming. lol

nice one man. dawsey was up there a few weeks back and found one washed up on the beach at the whiterocks. so there must have been a run of them up that way. there was also a garfish taken from the blue pool during the same week. so if thats global warming, i say bring it on

great to see them again did have caught a few triggers of the blue pool a number of years ago must have a bash at them again as the sea temp now is prob at its heighest

Nice one on the trigger. The other fish is a scad. Piles of them down in cork at the moment. There was strings of them coming onto our boat the last time we were out but i still couldn't manage to catch one

they were caught on a variety of baits the last time they showed in numbers around portrush.
rag, crab, squid, mack etc

im a sea food lover and i was told they were tasty so i ate it just to taste it once. if i catch another 1 it will be released.
