People: Me

Duration: 7pm - 9.15pm

Tide: Pushing

Weather: Lovely!

Bait: Rag & Lug

Rigs: Loop, 2+3 Hooks.

Results: Coalfish, Pollack, Pouting, Flounder, Whiting.

Report:

Had bait left from a rather terrible beach session last night, so decided I was going to use it up tonight.
Spent 6 hours in work this afternoon, it was glorious until around 5pm, when the clouds started to gather... I thought my fishing was going to be scuppered.

None the less, I was in the mood for a wee session, so ended up in Donaghadee for around 7pm. First cast I managed a 31cm Coalfish and that pretty much set the tone for the evening with fish coming every cast. Mostly coalies, but a couple of other species made a show. One thing to note is, Lug seems to be outfishing Rag something shocking down there at the moment. So a bit of digging before a visit might pay dividends.

There seem to be a lot of coalies around the Dee at the minute. All 20-35cm, and it's great to see them, and a token Flounder.

A guy was fishing Feathers over the back, and managed to get a couple of September Mackeral, which was nice to see...

Couple of pics...
