Results: 30+ Wrasse to 3 1/2 lbs
Another cracking session at this mark with fish to over 3lbs.

yeah, I reckon there are big big wrasse here. Seems to fish better on the drop.

you should try hardback shore crabs for the bigger wrasse

golf ball sized ones are great for keeping the smaller wrasse at bay. put the hook through the second from last leg and out the back of the shell and that way they stay alive and wriggle their legs about under the water and the bigger wrasse go mad for them. added to that it's a cheap way to get bait for a day's fishing

. just turn over a few rocks at low tide and you'll get enough for a session

good advice. I have been tempted to use peelers but at €1.50 a pop it seems a waste.
Rag are easy dug where I live but all the hardbacks and peelers are pillaged constantly.

Nice fishing

its a great spot for big Wrasse just down from the stone wall, have had plenty of wrasse to 5.5lb & Pollock to 7lb also try some Small Limpets work well there too.
