You could elaborate more on your reports. What size was your best pollack and coalfish, weather conditions, duration and tides etc? It makes them more fun for us to read.

This is the first report from pugwash so please give him a break. I’ve fished Valentia Island 4 times this year. Some nice wrasse fishing around the lighthouse.

pugwash the main thing is you got out fishing and hammered fish ,a few pics would be nice on your report they say a picture is worth a thousand words ,even i get lazey sometimes and dont bother with them but they do make for a more interesting report

Did a bit of sea fishing a few years ago, dunno too much about finesse.
Basically I genarally bait up three hooks and hoof it out with a six ounce weight n see what happens...........
Fish or no fish I try to enjoy the day.
