thanks,the ray in the first photo was 3lbs and the one in the second photo was 7 and 1/4 lbs,they are tags in the wings they are the first fish I have tagged,if you catch any fish with tags you can contact Inland Fisheries Ireland http://www.fishinginireland.info/contact.htm just give them as much information about the weight,length,tag number,date and location where caughtbigbadtom wrote:Two lovely ray there well done. I am surprised ye didn't get more then that,maybe it was the way the wind was blowing,when I was at the pier I didn't see any birds around normally there would be 5 or 6 gannets diving,hope the next time is better for yetight lines wrote:well done ger and the nippers myself and gitsea were in that other mark very slow day only one small ray and a dog but i guess it cant be great all the time
