Report:
Well after what seems an age,and many rewardless trips exploring what we thought would be new productive marks, we decided to go back to a favourite of mine, and oh boy what a day. While I faffed about setting up a conger rig, and a flapper rig on my tripod, Kev was into a fish a cast, right from the off. Large Pollack were hanging themselves on the end of his rag worm. So it was to be for the rest of the day, and finally when I got my float rig set up, we both set about pulling out lunker fish after lunker fish, with the occasional Coalie, hookin itself up as well. After about an hour or so we had lost count of the fish we had landed. All in all an amazing day with some fine specimens. We finished it off with chucking out a spinner each and bringing in half a dozen Mackerel. A truelly memorable day, and I'm glad it turned out to be as good a mark as I had bummed it up to be to Kev! The pix below are really an average sample of the days fishing!
