Derrymore round to Inch - June 26-30 (pics added)

Hi All

Had a good five days shore fishing various marks and methods on the dingle penninsula last week, the weather was great and tides were favourable.

Fishing with Eoin and my father we managed

five Wrasse over four and a half pounds at 4lbs 9oz, 4lbs 12oz, 4lbs 13oz,5lbs 1oz and 5lbs 2oz all on crab,

Pollock to 8lbs on lures and sandeel, Ray to 8lbs 8oz on mackerel, congers to 21lbs on mackerel

and also a bass of 9lbs 1oz (on a lure) all fish were returned alive.

well done adam, another good seeion for you down in dingle,,,hope to something similiar in the next couple of weeks....we did u do most of ur fishing...

Absolutely brilliant Adam S. Congratulations. A truly magnificent session. And RESPECT to you and your companions for returning all your fish alive.
Protect the magical sport of sea angling and spread the word that conservation is the way forward. Put fish back!!!!

Well done mate.......super trip. Those are some cracking Wrasse and I'm jealous as hell about the Bass.

Hi

Thanks all, yep i was jealous of the bass too MAC.

Gitboy we fished a different mark every session, tralee bay, brandon, rough point and dunmore/slea etc. for variety

everywhere was fishing well but derrymore was tough with weed and crabs. mackerel were scarce but we didnt really try for them much

Phil the bass was caught from the rocks near Inch
