tide; low and rising

people; myself

rig; running ledger for bass...float for wrasse and pollack

bait; ragworm

time; 3.30 7.00

result; 7 small bass,2 flats,1 pollack,4 wrasse

went ff to dig rag about 3,,got to my mark about 4 just in time for the bass to come in..almost immediately i caught into the first bass..this spot only fishes for about an hour and a half on a flooding tide..i fished until about 6 at this mark it was fishing good, not too much..best fish was a bass of about just over 2 pound..left here and drove too the flat rocks in dunmore since i had some rag left..there were quite a few guys there after mackerel so i decided to fish the float for wrasse and watch to see was anybody gettin any macks..nobody seemed to be gettin any at all..i carried on float fishin and caught 4 handy wrasse between 1 and 2 pound and also 1 small pollack..had enough of it about .30 but still had some rag left so there was a english guy and his son close too me fishin for macks but catchin nothin so i gave them my rag..they never fished only for macks so had to give them hooks and weights and set up the rod for them both..b4 i left the father was after catchin 2 tiny pollack and 1 wrasse..they were delighted..probably got them hooked...there is another relationship down the drain...
