People:just me

Duration:7.45-11.45

Tide:hw 9.21pm

Weather:slight sw wind, wet

Bait:lug,mack and a few whites

Rigs:flappers and pullys

Results:coalies, flounder, turbot

Report:Ended up trying a beach for a few hours, tides wernt ideal but i decided to give it a go anyway.
Looked alright when i got there, plenty of weed but all in one corner of the beach and everywhere at distance. Got a nice rattle on my 1st cast which turned out to be a small turbot of 17 cms. A good start, off the mark anyway! :D Got a big rattle about 30 mins later which resulted in a plump 28cm flounder. Slowed down after that with no more fish for about an hour. Was watching my rod and it gave the smallest of rattles, left it for a second and it went again, turned out to be the smallest coalie iv ever caught off a beach, 11 cms   The wind died down and so did the surf, but the weed returned and started to get very thick. The heavens opened too and i wasnt catching, was going to head back but said i only have enough bait for one more cast so i may as well..glad i did cause i got another coalie :)
Baits were untouched all day at distance, not even by the crabs which is odd cause they were out in force in close!  Overall not a bad few hours, not hectic by any means but still nice to be out.

No pics again, phone is out of order!

Not the worst of results by any means! I'd say, well rewarded for your efforts! Fair play for giving it a lash given the conditions! Was tempted to get out this evening, but it looked and felt a bit thundery. Not too nice being out in those conditions with a 13.5' lightening conductor by your side
