Report:Ended up trying a beach for a few hours, tides wernt ideal but i decided to give it a go anyway.
Looked alright when i got there, plenty of weed but all in one corner of the beach and everywhere at distance. Got a nice rattle on my 1st cast which turned out to be a small turbot of 17 cms. A good start, off the mark anyway!

Got a big rattle about 30 mins later which resulted in a plump 28cm flounder. Slowed down after that with no more fish for about an hour. Was watching my rod and it gave the smallest of rattles, left it for a second and it went again, turned out to be the smallest coalie iv ever caught off a beach, 11 cms

The wind died down and so did the surf, but the weed returned and started to get very thick. The heavens opened too and i wasnt catching, was going to head back but said i only have enough bait for one more cast so i may as well..glad i did cause i got another coalie

Baits were untouched all day at distance, not even by the crabs which is odd cause they were out in force in close!

Overall not a bad few hours, not hectic by any means but still nice to be out.
No pics again, phone is out of order!
